Meera’s musical upbringing has trained her to be an artist since the age of four. Daughter of Classical Indian Tabla player, Raj Kumar Varma, and international Indian and Oriental dancer, Zarina, at a very young age this multi-award-winning Dancer has entertained and captivated audiences reaching six different continents.

With a stage presence that is powerful yet playful, Meera’s creativity as an artist captures the emotions of rhythm and reveals the sensuality of her soul. Her stage presence is powerful yet playful, expressing extraordinary style with grace and beauty. She has performed to a vast array of cultural music, ranging from traditional music of the East to modern progressive music. She has trained in India, USA, Canada and Egypt with world renowned Bellydancers, as well as being brought up training in the Classical Indian Dance styles Bharatanatyam & Odissi. Her style of dancing is unique, focusing on various Classical and Folk Dances of India, Bollywood Dancing, and authentic Egyptian and Cabaret style Bellydancing, with the natural essence of her East Indian heredity and technique flowing through every performance.
